Red Light Exposé is an international grassroots survivor-led circle which formed in 2023 to combat the growing acceptance and endorsement of “sex work” ideology.
Our mission is to raise awareness of the harms of commercializing sex, and the industries (prostitution, porn, stripping, BDSM/kink) that exploit socioeconomically marginalized people, particularly women and girls.
We support the adoption of Equality Model legislation worldwide while calling for an improvement in social security.
Through honest, in-depth conversations we aim to elevate voices that are often ignored and silenced, moving us forward in our shared vision of healthy and safe societies for all people.
"This show has made me think differently, and opened my eyes to better arguments against the exploitation of women and girls. I've always been anti-sex-industry, but didn't always have the language to explain why. Now I do. Thank you team for the amazing content! I'm a fan!"
"You all are so wonderful - the way you bounce off each other, the diversity of perspectives, your female power - thank you for creating this space. This show triggers me because of your shared vulnerability and how it takes me back to the past. You've been inspiring my healing, visual art, and writing. Keep on keeping on, sisters!"
"Thank you for the important work you are doing and for honouring these women! The world needs to hear this and we all need to wake up to the insane reality that has been perpetuated on us!"
"I found you ladies through the algorithm and I am so happy that I did. The normalization of the 'sex industry' is putting innocent children in harms way. Thank you for speaking up and out!"
"What an elucidating conversation! I appreciate the way this podcast features the voices of those who can share their experiences, and perspectives, and knowledge about this powerfully protected industry of exploitation. Such voices too often are ignored."
"This is one of the most fascinating and eye-opening discussions I've heard recently. [...] I'm glad there are men who are working towards abolition alongside the women."
"Such an informative, eloquent, moving conversation. I learned so much. Thank you for being so courageous and inspiring as scholars, community organizers, and survivors!"
"A really thought-provoking and difficult listen, counterbalanced by the points of hope , and the warmth between the team."
"All the amazing women who come together through this show blows my mind."
"Thank you for having this conversation, this video helped me process and understand some of my own trauma."
